looking into film noir

in this film noir scene you can see that the effects used are minimal other than lighting. it also consists of  voice overs as well as speech from the scene. this aspect of voice overs will be a key feature in our film as it relates back to our basis of film noir and also matches in with our research on a conventional film trailer.

Casting (interviewing actors)

Our group has reached he stage where we are ready to cast for the different roles in our film. To do this we have looked t potential people that could play the roles that we are looking for and then we called them in for an interview.

Part 1
In this interview we asked the actor some questions about them to get an understanding as to what they think of our film and to get a general background of the actor.

Part 2
After the questions, the next stage of the interview was a simple script reading task. This involved the actors getting a section of the script and having to read some of it whilst the interviewer (Alex Rosling) prompted them. This was to see the way they reacted to the script and how they could play off what the other character was saying.

These are some of the actors that we looked at and how they did in the interview:

Adam Ridleston

Callum West

Charlie Blackmore
