The main story of our film is that there is a man, James Ford, who is ex-milaty. He was presumed dead after a secrete mission went wrong and he came out with a lost memory as to who he is. he now lives day by day not knowing what happened to him until one day an opportunity rises for him to get the information he needs. by by doing what he has been asked small fragments of memory come back and he then remembers all.
Introduction of Key Characters:
James Ford: Main male actor, Ex government agent who loses his memory. Confident and decisive.
Women: Female actress. Right hand of the Boss. Can be very persuasive and manipulative.
Boss: Crime boss, who wants James to do a job. Ruthless and Controlling.
Government Agent x3: 3 male roles that are government agents that where in James' squad before he went missing. calm and decisive.
Henchman x3: 3 males, work for the crime boss. Violent and does what they are told.
Target Audience:
Our film is mainly aimed at an 18 plus audience. We have decided this audience as it has action scenes and language that would not be suitable for ages under 18. However it has a film noir aspect to it which would also attract the older audience to our film.
Act 1:
The first scene starts with James Ford held at gun point in an alley. the man holding him at gun point is on of the henchman that work for the boss. in this scene there is a small amount of dialogue with a voice over to explain the narrative of what is happening. He is being held at gun point because he has not been doing what the boss wants him to do and the henchman is there to put him in his place. However this scene is a flashback so it does not reveal to much as it leaves the audience wondering what happens.
Act 2:
This act consists of James Ford being approached by a women ( who works for the boss). She is convincing him to do the job that they have for him and in return they will reveal his past to him. Form there we see him get given the information that he must deliver and watch him make the transition from being a man who has nothing to lose to a man who could have everything to lose. The last we see in this act is James setting off to go and deliver the information.
Act 3:
This act then starts with him on the train when he notices men in suits have been following him (later on in the act we discover that they are the government agents). James Ford then runs from the train in an attempt to lose his followers. Due to this he runs into the alley we see at the start and act 1 repeats. after seeing act 1 again the government agents then reveal themselves along with the other 2 henchman. It is then a standoff with the agents on one side and the henchman on the other with James Ford stuck in the middle, Having to decide who to listen to. He must make a decision of losing his chances of finding out his past and go with the agents, or go with the henchman where he will be turning his back on the past in order to find it. a decision he doesn't take lightly.
